On some days — most days — you’re not going to see anything. You’re not even going to feel anything. No light. No sunshine. No rainbows. No clearing. Nothing. You can be working and doing all the right things but sense that nothing will really come of it. But just at the very moment when everything seems silenced and every door seems closed and you’re about to give up, you will see a little glimmer of light, a little ray of sunshine, the end of a rainbow, the start of a path in the near distance, and that will be your sign to keep moving, keep working, keep going until suddenly something just happens.  Read more…

One of the greatest gifts you will be given in life is the ability to cultivate mentors and advisers. Before you do this, you must be willing to listen and learn from other people. People who value their time will not take too kindly to trying to help an unteachable person.
