Guest Post by Megha Shah: How Criticizing Others Affects Their Self-Esteem (People. Matter. 02.14.17)

Even God doesn’t judge a man until his last moments — then who are we to judge others?

More often than not, we take it for granted that people will behave and talk like we want them to. It is human nature to expect a certain kind of response from any person. Failing to get such a response, we tend to, very conveniently, tell them hurtful things — things that when told to us would result in anger and rage.  Read more…

You Are Chosen (365 Days of Daring Faith — DAY 365)

1 Peter 2:9 (NLT)
You are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Just open your heart and mind to the opportunities that come your way with your name on them.

I Have Decided…

Most of life is about making decisions. Our decisions help us to define who we are, what we want, and what type of people we want around us. Decisions also help us to be in charge of our lives. What we decide to do is our very own choice. If we make bad decisions, we will get bad results. Likewise, if we make good decisions, we will get good results. We can be definite about our attitudes and behaviors towards life and towards other people by the decisions that we make. When we are resolute in our minds, we have cleared a path for us to guide ourselves to fulfill our purpose without doubt and fear.
