With God Everything Is Possible (365 Days of Daring Faith — DAY 265)

Matthew 19:26 (NLT)
Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Many times, things seem impossible when we depend on human beings. But everything is possible with God. Why do believers do big things? How are we able to achieve and accomplish while overcoming seemingly insurmountable situations? It is because God is much bigger than anything we can do and everything we are. Read more…

The Four-Minute Mile and Mindset (365 Days of Spirited Living – DAY 183)

The Four-Minute Mile and Mindset

“If a man coaches himself, then he has only himself to blame when he is beaten.”
— Roger Bannister

For hundreds of years, experts said that the human body did not possess the capability to run a 4-minute mile. In fact, for over a thousand years, people had tried to reach this goal. And in the 1940s, the mile record was set at four minutes and one second. Since the experts had said it, people just believed the idea that this was a feat that was impossible for the human body to accomplish. Read more…

Let God Do It (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 157)

Let God Do It

Luke 18:27 (NLT)
What is impossible for people is possible with God.

One of the fundamental truths of Christianity is that God is God because He can do the impossible. Even though we may like to think we can, we can’t always do the impossible on our own. We need help. And we need to believe there is Someone who can help us. God is God and we are not. It is in our best interest to depend on Him to guide us and to help us in life. Read more…

It Depends on Who You Trust (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 108)

It Depends on Who You Trust

Luke 18:27 (NLT)
What is impossible for people is possible with God.

Are you trying to reach a goal or accomplish a task and find it difficult to get past the first step? Make the Dreaded Nearly Impossible (365 Days of Spirited Living – DAY 81)

Make the Dreaded Nearly Impossible

“To the timid and hesitating everything is impossible because it seems so.”
— Sir Walter Scott

With constant pressure coming our way to be better, get smarter, and produce more, it can be hard to do the things we actually dread. The difficult part of staying motivated is just that — staying motivated. Staying positive and on top of our game through all the work we have to do on a regular basis is work in and of itself. We should get credit for it, but we probably don’t. Read more…

Faith in the Storm (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 44)

Faith in the Storm

Joshua 17:18 (NLT)
The forests of the hill country will be yours as well. Clear as much of the land as you wish, and take possession of its farthest corners. And you will drive out the Canaanites from the valleys, too, even though they are strong and have iron chariots.

There is always room for progress. The top of the mountain is filled with very few people who have struggled to make it there. However, the journey to the top of the mountain is littered with people who are still trying, and some who have given up. Seeing life as it could be is almost impossible when in the middle of some difficult moment. But that is why we are encouraged to have faith. Read more…

Dreaming Possible (365 Days of Spirited Living – DAY 25)

Dreaming Possible

“Our dream, the desire that is in our soul, did not come out of nowhere. Someone placed it there. And that Someone, who is pure love and wants only our happiness, did so only because he also gave us the tools to realise our dreams and our desires.”
— Paulo Coelho

We are all capable of doing so much, yet very often, we end up doing so little. There is no guarantee that we will succeed at anything. There is a guarantee that we never have a chance of succeeding if we do not try. We are able to dream not for the sake of dreaming. We are able to dream because possibility lies beyond our dreams. We dream not because we need something but because we already have everything we need.
