Philippians 3:14 (NLT)
I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

We only have a limited amount of time, money, resources, and energy to do what we have been called to do in this life. Too often, we allow ourselves to get focused on what is behind us, what we have been through or are going through at the present moment, how someone has or is treating us or saying about us, or the environment in which we were brought up in, keep us back from focusing on the right things. So Close to Victory

“I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward” (Philippians 3:14, AMP)

I haven’t lived very long, but one thing I have learned in life is that whenever things seem difficult and mountains seem just a bit to steep to climb in life, that is the moment you can be certain you are very close to victory. Whenever negative thoughts enter your mind or the devil begins to talk to you and tell you ‘you can’t do it’, ‘you’re not good enough’, or ‘that will never happen for you’, that is not the time to give up. That is not the time to throw in the towel. That is not the time to run to an easy route. That is the time to believe God and press on toward the goal because you are already so close to victory.
