Don’t Be Afraid (365 Days of Daring Faith — DAY 358)

dont-be-afraid

Luke 2:10 (NLT)
But the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.”

Throughout the Christmas story, four individuals had two things in common with each other. Joseph, Mary, Zechariah and the shepherds all were afraid or troubled and each time an angel came to them and told them not to be afraid. Proverbs 13:16 (NLT)
All who are prudent act with knowledge, but fools expose their folly.

If you want to reach your goals in life, you need to devise a plan to get there. You need a plan to move from the place you are in now to the place you want to go. A plan for your life’s goals is like a map needed to travel from one part of the country to another. Without a plan, all your desired dreams will never turn into reality. Read more…

When God Gives Us Lemons

So often we hear the familiar phrase, “turn your lemons into lemonade.” This phrase means that when things go wrong in life, we should take the bad parts and make the best out of the situation. In other words, we should take our sour lemons and make sweet lemonade. If we are open to learning and to living life to the fullest, we will find that oftentimes life is never as bad as we think it is. Optimism on the inside always trumps pessimism that may exists on the outside.
