I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!

As believers, we grow in our relationship with God when we take the time to talk to him and to listen for him to speak to us. A relationship with God is similar to a relationship with any other human being. In order for the relationship to grow, mature, and be mutually beneficial, both parties must communicate with each other on a daily basis. Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don’t listen because you don’t belong to God.

What we hear has a significant impact upon our minds. What goes into our minds eventually turns up in our lives. What we do in our lives shows who we are and what we value. It is easier to accept whatever we hear without question and to always be tuned in to our environment.   Read more…
