Pass the Forgiveness (365 Days of Daring Faith — DAY 321)

Colossians 3:13 (NLT)
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

Isn’t it interesting how we are quick to ascribe positive intent to our own actions, motives, and thoughts but equally as quick to ascribe negative intent to the actions, motives, and thoughts of someone else. We have a tendency to make room for our own faults and failures but very little room to make the same allowance for other people who potentially do some of the same things. Read more…

Forgotten and Forgiven

“As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we never made a mistake, never failed, never got angry or upset, never needed a second chance? We would be perfect then, right? And if that were the case, there would be no need for salvation, redemption, confession, or forgiveness. We would never get to experience the fullness of God’s grace and mercy. Read more…
