We Are Finished…Thank You and Happy New Year!

beautiful-happy-new-year-2017-card-vector

It’s the end of 2016 and we have finished two awesome series on the blog this year: 365 Days of Daring Faith and 365 Days of Spirited Living (Really 366, thanks to the leap year). Perhaps, at some time in the future, these series will be turned into books and if they are, you’ll be the first to know. But I want to say a very special thank you to each and every one of you who read the blog and my INC.com, Mogul and Huffington Post columns throughout the year, who left comments, and who shared the posts with your friends through social media.

It is a humble honor to share what I know and I hope you have been empowered to continue to set goals, achieve your dreams, be your best self and make a difference in the world around you. I’m truly grateful for all of you! Check out the newsletter for some of the latest most popular posts this year. Let’s toast to a beautifully productive 2017!

Love you, guys!

From the track record of history, tragedy will wreck us and wound us in the most possible way. Wouldn’t it be great to have just one saying, one phrase, one word of assurance and security in this year that can keep us going every single day?  Read more…

These Two Things Are Certain

These Two Things Are Certain

John 16:33 (NLT)
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.

This year of 2015 had its fair share of trials and sorrows, tribulation and suffering. Not a day went by in which we were free of hearing about wars and terror attacks, about someone somewhere in this world dying, about people who made a difference and others who took it for granted, about little innocent children being robbed of a chance to live.  Read more…

#NewYearsResolutionIn5Words

#NewYearsResolutionIn5Words

So this — #NewYearsResolutionIn5Words — was trending on Twitter today, all day long. Each year, millions of people take time to set goals and make resolutions for the new year. A resolution is the intentional making of a decision to do or to not do something in order to accomplish certain goals and see good results for setting new habits and breaking old ones. This little period is really a time everyone should take to reflect on the past, however difficult and heartbreaking, or joyous and inspiring it was and make special effort to improve. On Twitter, using the hashtag, #NewYearsResolutionIn5Words, many thousands of people joined in in posting their resolution for 2016 in 5 words (too bad someone limited the word count). And I joined in too. Below are the couple dozen #NewYearsResolutionIn5Words I posted on Twitter earlier today.
