With God Everything Is Possible (365 Days of Daring Faith — DAY 265)

Matthew 19:26 (NLT)
Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Many times, things seem impossible when we depend on human beings. But everything is possible with God. Why do believers do big things? How are we able to achieve and accomplish while overcoming seemingly insurmountable situations? It is because God is much bigger than anything we can do and everything we are.

It isn’t about what we can do in our human power. It’s all about what God can do in his almighty strength and what we trust him and believe that he will do in and through our lives. God infuses us and fills us with his power and ability to persevere so that we can accomplish what seems impossible. God will act according to the depth and length of your faith.

God could just run through the world and do things, but he doesn’t do that. He does things according to the level of our faith. God wants to use you and your life for his glory. But first, you must believe that. Stop telling yourself that you have too much baggage in your past or that you’re too messed up to make a difference in God’s kingdom. God doesn’t see you that way at all.

God sees you as a person who has the ability and the capability to change the world right where you are. God has given you everything you need. He’s just waiting on you to trust and believe what he says about you. You are loved and valued so that you can go and share that same love and place that same value on other people in the world. Stop telling yourself what can’t be done. Start believing that everything is possible with God.

“Our belief in God is not blind faith. Belief is having a firm conviction something is true, not hoping it’s true.”
