Jesus Knows Us All Too Well (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 170)

Jesus Knows Us All Too Well

Luke 12:7 (NLT)
And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.

You matter to God. God cares for you. This is one of the most important truths you will ever discover about God. Just because someone has a relationship with Jesus doesn’t mean everything is perfect in their lives. We all have moments that are very wrong and make us feel like we’re upside down instead of right side up.

The reality is that the more we grow in God and gain the right perspective of life, the more we realize that God really cares about us — all of us. Jesus knows us all too well. So well, in fact, that He knows the number of hairs on our head, knows what we need before we ask, and loves us deeply in spite of ourselves. There is nothing in our lives that is hidden from His view or knowledge.

Even though we aren’t perfect, Jesus knows us fully and intimately — better than a spouse, better than a best friend. You are more valuable to God than anything else. And what do we do when we value something or someone? We take excellent care of them because we know them and love them deeply. The next time things feel wrong or upside-down, take hope that there is an all-loving, all-knowing God, who cares about you and loves you enough to make it right and turn is right-side up.

“Even Christ pleased not Himself. He was utterly consumed in the zeal of His Father’s house. As man He ever moved for God. As God He ever moved for man.”
