Plans for Good (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 168)

Plans for Good

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Insecurity and fear are mainstays in our society. If we’re not careful, they can overtake our lives. Too often we give permission to fear and allow it to ruin our confidence and hinder us from pursuing our purpose. God did not create us to give in to the grip of these emotions. God has amazingly good plans for us that we have yet to see realized.

Being courageous does not mean we do not experience fear. We do. Arming ourselves with courage is the ability to face our fears and insecurities and overcome them. The first step to actually overcoming is believing we can. But we believe not in our own strength and ability; instead we believe in God’s power to help us. Faith in our own abilities is limiting, but when we put whatever little faith we have in God, nothing is impossible.

Don’t let fear run your life. Don’t succumb to your insecurities. Have faith in what God has done for you and the plans He has for your future. Nothing gets to the heart of God more than His children trusting and believing that His word is true and that whatever they desire will come to pass. Believe that God is who He says He is. Choose to embrace the truth that God’s plan and purpose for you is greater and bigger than you ever imagined.

“Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation.”
