3 Actual Signs You’re Doing Just Fine

“If you would only recognize that life is hard, things would be so much easier for you.”
— Louis D. Brandeis

It is both sunshine and rain that helps plants to grow. And it is the same with life. Both hard things and pleasant things do us good. But the hard things might have a slight edge over the pleasant things. How you handle (or not handle) the hard stuff says a lot about your character, your mind, your strength, and your capacity to live life.

Here are 3 signs you’re doing just fine:

1. You don’t always have to be right. You do not know everything. No matter how old you get, you can always learn something. If you realize this and accept this you’re getting farther down the road faster and you’re doing just fine. When you strive to always be right, you forfeit your many opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.

2. You do it now. The first and best time to do something is now. The second best time was yesterday. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us, but tomorrow always comes fastest to those who do something today.

3. You face the hard stuff. There is no doubt about it, life can be hard. You’ve learned to never put your head in the clouds or in the sand. Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it’s not good or that you’re not strong enough to handle it. Facing the hard stuff means you’re one step closer to pulling through it.

“I don’t know what the future holds, but I know that God holds tomorrow, so it is exciting. Even when I have hard things happen, He loves me so big, so much. I come through it and I grow from it, because He has got me.”
— Barbara Mandrell
