3 Clear Signs You’re Doing Just Fine (365 Days of Spirited Living – DAY 150)

3 Clear Signs You’re Doing Just Fine

“There’s only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.”
— Aldous Huxley

It is never enough to just be. Just being is too close to just existing. You must also do. Be and Do. Be someone who builds up other people. Be someone who seeks to listen and understand. Be someone who exudes confidence and extends appreciation. Actively do the things you know will make a difference. Live the world better than when you first entered it.

Here are 3 signs you’re doing just fine:

1. You know how to take care of you. Whether you had someone to take care of you when you were growing up or not, it’s important that you are aware you need to take care of yourself. You know when to get rest and when to get sleep (there is a difference), where to go exercising, who to turn to when a problem arises, and how to handle major sickness and minor ailments.

2. You take risks. Risk is a measurement for how far you’re willing to go to get what you really want. If you’re offered a choice that involves risk, count the cost, but more than likely, you should take the risk. Risk often involves reward that cannot be otherwise obtained. You may lose on a gamble, but if you win the lottery, it’s worth it.

3. You have some portion of your health. Your health is nothing to take for granted. The thousands of cells, blood vessels, neurons, and valves that must open and close, dispense and receive bodily fluids, and keep your body functioning is amazing. If one thing goes wrong, it can mess your whole body up. So if you are able to breathe, move, sense, and feel, be thankful.

“The only person who can pull me down is myself, and I’m not going to let myself pull me down anymore.”
— C. Joybell C.
