3 Realistic Signs You’re Moving Forward (365 Days of Spirited Living – DAY 133)

3 Realistic Signs You’re Moving Forward

“You will never feel truly satisfied by work until you are satisfied by life.”
— Heather Schuck

Every little step you take in the direction of your goals is significant. Progress involves a multiplicity of little things. Parts are what make up the whole. You should focus on the little things but not to the neglect of the bigger picture. And we must keep the big picture in view but not to the point where we can’t see the little things that make up the goal. This is how progress is achieved.

Here are three more signs you’re moving forward in life even if you don’t feel it:

1. When you stop wishing and start working. Wishing is good only if action follows. Plenty of people are content to dream while very few are willing to work. You’ve learned that work makes wishes come true. When your life warrants a change, you make it. When situations call for toughness, you display it. A wish is just a wish until it turns into work.

2. When you don’t wait for tomorrow. Excuses are so easy to make because they’re so plentiful. There is always a reason to procrastinate, hesitate, and delay. When it’s all said and done, you’ll regret the action you didn’t take more than the ones you did. The things you wait to do tomorrow can be done just as well today.

3. When you take every chance that comes your way. We avoid taking chances for many different reasons including fear of failure, embarrassment, and rejection. Instead of focusing on what might happen, you’ve learned to take chances. The degree you didn’t pursue, the job you didn’t apply for, the relationship you didn’t cultivate will weigh heavier on your mind than failing and learning ever will.

“Those who feel satisfied with their personal lives are more satisfied with their careers and perform better.”
— Michael Hyatt
