Help From Above (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 130)
Psalm 121:1-2 (NLT)
I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
We need help! There are many times we may feel as though we can’t do what God has called us to do. We may feel like we don’t have enough talent, enough strength, or enough qualifications. There is a lot of truth to these feelings. Whatever God has called you to do, there is no way possible you can do it without Him.
You may feel that God is asking you to do something that is impossible. But with God nothing is impossible. Whether you feel like you’re the one or not, God did call you and with His strength working through you, you are more than qualified to handle whatever comes your way.
God calls us to do certain things not because He needs us to, but because He wants us to. Since God created us and gave us our weaknesses, we can never use them as an excuse for not doing what He has called us to do. It is in our weakness that God provides us strength — deep, supernatural, persevering strength — to accomplish what he has given us to do.
“You know God gives me that inner strength that super strength to get through things.”
