Facing Strength (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 121)

Facing Strength

Proverbs 24:5 (NLT)
The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger.

God is our strength, but He also gives us strength. If we live long enough, at some point and time, we will face obstacles. We will find ourselves between a rock and a hard place and feel we have no place to go and no one to turn to. Roadblocks can come in many different forms through sickness, relational issues, emotional hurts, and even spiritual hangups.

The bad news is that life is inevitably difficult. The good news is that in whatever we face, God is greater than our situation. If we follow His plan and don’t give up too soon, He will eventually reveal the great things He has in His heavenly storehouse. It has been said that many people don’t get to experience the miracle they seek or the blessing they want because they give up just before they turn the corner.

God’s people are wise people. They choose to stay committed to the task before them and the people around them. It is with this attitude, that they prevail and push forward. Those who know that the barricade before them is not the end of the road choose to take up strength and keep moving forward no matter what.

When God is on your side, no battle is lost. When you are following the path that God has told you to follow, you won’t stop even if you encounter a storm. Your heart and commitment is what God is after. The hardships you face do not determine how you will end up. You can make it through any situation, over any mountain, and across any valley when you embrace the strength from above.

“Do not strive in your own strength; cast yourself at the feet of the Lord Jesus, and wait upon Him in the sure confidence that He is with you, and works in you.”
