You Are Never Alone (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 116)
Philippians 4:13 (NLT)
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
When we face inevitable hard times in life, we think we are alone. Especially when things are extra difficult or embarrassing, it can be hard to open up and talk to someone. Finding ourselves faced with unexpected sickness, emotional hurts, and relational issues, we can begin to feel that no on will relate to us.
In truth, there is Someone who understands and who cares. Jesus can relate to any issue we are facing in life because He has overcome all of our hardships on the cross. He knows what it is like to feel alone and to be alone, and He doesn’t want you to go through life alone.
Jesus identifies with our hurts and sorrows. He embraces our imperfections and failures. He carries us when we feel like giving up and comforts us when we feel like we can’t go forward anymore. Jesus cares more than enough about every aspect of our lives. Our past, present, and future are no surprises to Him.
You may not be able to open up to another human being, but you can always open up to God. You don’t have to be a lone ranger through the valley of hang-ups and hold-ups. You don’t have to fly solo through hurt and heartbreak. God offers strength to face your problems and sympathy to overcome any pain you are experiencing.
You don’t have to do life by yourself. And the fact is, you can’t do life by yourself. You need help. I need help. God is right there with arms outstretched and heart wide open ready to help you get through whatever you’re going through. You are not alone. Thank God for Jesus. Find your identity in Him and believe that you can do all things and can endure anything by His power and might.
“Know that you’re never alone. God is with you holding you, comforting you and most of all loving you no matter what.”
