It Depends on Who You Trust (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 108)
Luke 18:27 (NLT)
What is impossible for people is possible with God.
Are you trying to reach a goal or accomplish a task and find it difficult to get past the first step? Or are you getting frustrated because you’re trying to change someone or change a situation and it’s just not working? Sure, you have a good heart and you have even better intentions, but if you’re trying to push things to happen on your time, you will get frustrated.
One of the greatest comforts in life is to know that nothing at all is impossible with God. There are many things that we cannot do on our own. But God needs no one’s help to accomplish things that are above and beyond us. We have to trust Him that He has our best interests at heart, that He is looking out for us, and that He cares about the decisions we make in life. Nothing is too hard for God to handle.
Turning your situation, and even people, over to God is simple. Just make a decision to remove your hands and your will from the situation and let God handle it. When you do this, it may look bleak at first, but believe that it will work out the way it should. Start thanking God for what He is about to do. Give Him control, trust Him, and let Him do the impossible in Your life.
