All Ya Gotta Do Is Ask (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 78)

All Ya Gotta Do Is Ask

James 4:2b (NLT)
Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.

God has two primary businesses in the world. The first is to save souls. The second is answer prayers. Many times, we don’t get what we want in life because we don’t have the humility and the audacity to ask God for what we want. It’s important we understand that our prayers not only impact ourselves, but they also impact other people and the heart of God.

We’ve all encountered moments in our spiritual journey when it seemed no results were coming from our prayers. So, we resort to other methods in an attempt to get an answer. However, we don’t get what we want by coveting, warring, and fighting. Yet that is what many of us do. Obtaining things through revenge, suppression, and competing against others is not how God wants us to live our lives. We don’t secure victory or gain any pleasure by gaming the system that God has created.

God is willing and ready to give us anything we want within His will and way if we simply ask for it. Before you undertake any task or engage in any battle, consult God. Ask for His guidance and His wisdom. He will give it to you. Commit your way to Him; let your requests be made known to Him, and follow His path for your life. Bring your requests in alignment with His will and approach Him in faith. Fear does not move God, faith does.

There is nothing that God cannot give. There is nothing that God does not have that He cannot give to you. Thank God for where He has placed you and be grateful when you approach God for anything. Knowing how to pray and what to pray is crucially important to a successful prayer life. Praying in faith and with a heart that desires God’s will first will open the door for blessings to manifest in your life.

“Nothing lies beyond the reach of prayer except that which lies outside the will of God.”
— Phillips Brooks
