Catched (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 70)

Catched

John 10:28 (NLT)
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me,

Courage is an elusive virtue. It’s hard to achieve on our own. But as believers in Jesus, we do not have to fear the difficult situations we encounter. We can take courage in the fact that God is an ever-present help. He keeps His promises and will never fail to come to our aid. When we understand that faith is God’s power at our discretion, obstacles don’t seem too hard to overcome.

When God calls us to go to a strange land or take on a task we feel unqualified for, we can be assured that it is not dangerous territory. We do not have to fear the calling of God. We can trust His word that He will be right there wherever He sends us. He goes before us as the light. He surrounds us with abundant protection. He holds His hand underneath us to catch us if we fall. And He covers us with grace and power.

No obstacle is too difficult and no mountain is too high when God is in control. When you’re in the center of God’s will, know that you are safe and secure. When the storms of life begin to blow around you, God is right there to catch you and hold you up with His strong arms and tender heart. God is looking for people who are willing to trust Him enough to take the leap of faith and leave the results to Him.

“Maybe, now and then, we have to give up a portion of our kingdoms–the things we hold dearest–to find what it is God wants for us.”

Every time I hear someone say that God doesn’t give them anything they can’t handle, I think that’s funny. He’s always giving me stuff I can’t handle then He equips me to handle it. It keeps me completely dependent on Him!!
