Hope on the Other End (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 66)

Hope on the Other End

Romans 10:13 (NLT)
For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

If you were drowning, what is the one thing you would be looking for most? You want someone to have the power to rescue you. When you are sick, what do you want to hear about your condition? You want to hear how you can get well. In simple terms, you want hope. Hope is that anticipation that something good will be the case.

There is hope for your life. Jesus has promised that anyone who calls on Him will receive eternal life. Eternal life is hope and a future after this life. If you’re drowning in sin, hurt, guilt, shame, or loss, give your heart to Jesus Christ. When you come to Jesus, you’ve got everything in this life and the next life to gain, and nothing at all to lose.

When you call out to Jesus, you won’t be hit with questions or belittling statements. You won’t be taken down memory lane on all your past attitudes and behaviors. He won’t judge you or condemn you. Instead, He will lovingly open His arms to you and take you in just as you are. When you call out to Jesus, there is hope on the other end of the line.

“I’ve read the last page of the Bible. It’s all going to turn out all right.”
— Billy Graham
