Keep Believing, Keep Trusting (365 Days of Daring Faith – DAY 63)
Galatians 6:9 (NLT)
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
God has put desires and goals in the heart of every person. We all have dreams that we want to see come to pass and achievements that we want to rejoice over. There are situations that we want to see change and people we want to see become who they were meant to be. Sometimes, while we’re waiting, it is easy to give up and lose heart that our deepest desires and best dreams will never happen.
The truth is, things don’t always work out the way we plan for them to. Some things say the way they are longer than we can seem to bear. It is during these times that it becomes easy for us to lose enthusiasm and allow negative thoughts and emotions take over our lives. When we have hoped and prayed for something for so long, and it seems as though it is not going to happen, we get discouraged and cease to hope and pray.
Many times, people miss out on God’s greatest blessings simply because they gave up on their faith, hope, and prayers too soon. Very rarely will we see the end from the beginning. God’s is too wise to let us see that far. He want us to trust Him and press on anyway even when we don’t see anything at all. If we’re not careful, we can allow ourselves to get depressed and settle for staying the way we are and in the same situation we are in. Many people don’t realize how close they are to victory before it is too late.
Whatever it is that you are hoping for and dreaming for today, don’t give up. Don’t quit fighting and praying just because things seem difficult. Sometimes, you’ve got to pray about things over and over and over again until it happens. Many times, you’ve got to keep rekindling that light of hope even if it’s just a flicker over and over again each day. Your continued prayers and faith are investments in God’s kingdom and God is delighted to open doors that no man can shut for those who trust in Him.
God has promised that if you don’t get tired, you don’t get weary, and you don’t give in to negative thoughts, at the right time, in His will and in His way, you will see blessings multiplied in your life, your wildest dreams come to pass better than you thought possible, your situation turn around in your favor, and victory sweeter than you ever imagined. Just keep at it. Don’t throw in the towel; don’t give up. God is with you as you journey through this life. Keep believing and keep trusting because His promises will not come back void.
“As believers in Jesus Christ, our work is to believe while God works on our behalf.”
